What can we get out of RVE 2021?
Delegates attending the show will benefit from the welcome opportunity to network in person with their peers from across the industry, something which has been sorely missed by so many during the Covid pandemic.
At the heart of the show is the exhibition, at which companies of all sizes will showcase their rolling stock products and services. Combined with that is the Fourth Friday Club Rail in the Midlands event, featuring leading speakers from Train Operating Companies, Network Rail, Midlands Connect and the freight sector. With excitement building and registrations soaring, the original dedicated event for the rolling stock sector returns to Derby Arena this year on Thursday 4 November. With free registrations for individuals and companies, make sure you don’t miss out! Visit www.rve-expo.co.uk to get hold of your visitors passes.
What the Editor says
‘We are excited to be welcoming the rolling stock sector back to Derby on 4 November for this year’s Modern Railways RVE show’ says Modern Railways Editor Philip Sherratt. ‘We know many people are keen to get back to meeting in person, and this is one of the first opportunities for the industry to do so. With the exhibition, a brand new supplier engagement activity and a fantastic Rail in the Midlands conference, it is a must-attend show for everyone in the rolling stock sector.’
Re-connect with confidence
While the worst of the pandemic appears to be past, the organisers of Modern Railways RVE Expo are working closely with our venue, Derby Arena, to ensure the safety of everyone attending this year’s show. The layout of the exhibition includes wide walkways and stands are well spaced out, so there will be plenty of space within the Arena to accommodate everyone who attends. More detailed guidance about Covid protocols will be issued closer to the event, based on the latest Government advice at the time.
Modern Railways RVE takes place at Derby Arena on Thursday 4 November from 10.00 to 16.00. Attendance is free to industry personnel, but prior registration is strongly encouraged. So don’t delay, head to the show website www.rve-expo.co.uk now to register your attendance at this not-to-be-missed event.
Organised by Modern Railways, the show combines the exhibition with a top-level rail conference and the popular supplier engagement event organised by Rail Forum Midlands, which this year takes place in a brand new format as RVE BigIdea. Applications are now open for RVE BigIdea, and companies wishing to participate should submit their application via the RFM website by 24 September.
